QEF is working for a world where people with disabilities have the freedom to live their lives, use their abilities and fulfil their dreams. We want to deliver caring and creative solutions for people with disabilities and bring about lasting change. We are determined to help them develop greater independence and confidence in their lives.
- CHOICE - For many people with disabilities ordinary tasks require extraordinary effort day after day - and it can seem relentless. That's why specialist kit that brings joy and relaxation along with learning it so brilliant.
- INDEPENDENCE - Being dependent on the support of other people is often frustrating and downright uncomfortable. Having up to date technology in the home gives greater choice, more independence and a sense of self worth things we may take for granted.
- DIGNITY - Growing older and losing strength of our younger years are challenges we all face. With a disability these issues are tenfold. Self worth and respect for ourselves is a hugely positive and necessary feeling that specialist kit supports.
How we will achieve our goals
Working together and harnessing the skills and talents of our employees, volunteers, carers and supporters, whilst supporting and engaging people with disabilities. Enabling people with disabilities to live life to the full through improving our services and the facilities we have to offer across Surrey and South London.
Where the money will go
Many of our clients supported at our Brain Injury service will, after intensive therapy, return to their lives in the community, their families and work. Providing state of the art equipment is a crucial part of their journey. With ever depleting financial support for equipment and therapies elsewhere our clients rely on us to support their future.
