The Willow Trust - Canal Experience
The Willow Trust provide days out on the canal for disabled adults and children. The only paid staff are the organiser and the 2 skippers of the boats. The trips are completely free of charge and the guests, especially the children have a day to remember. They can steer the boat, see the wild life on the canal and wave to passers by. Wonderful.
- To give disabled people of any age a day of fun and laughter.
- To enable carers to have a few hours of peace and tranquility on the canal.
How we will achieve our goals
This would fund the cost of fuel for one boat to run everyday from 1st April to 30th October, providing trips for 3,500 people.
Where the money will go
A big help to the disabled community.
