Teaching Esol - TESOL

The TESOL course is designed for those who would like to teach English as a foreign language to those lacking basic English skills.

Our goals:

  • Assist parents who lack basic English skills to get more familiar with the language. By understanding English, parents will be more likely able to assist their children with their homework and other activities in general.
  • By learning the basics of English, parents will gain confidence in many areas which will reflect in their children's lives. They would eventually feel comfortable finding jobs, completing written forms and much more.
  • The long term focus of the course is for their children's development. As parents who can read English will eventually communicate more with the teachers and any other school staff member.

How we will achieve our goals

By taking the TESOL training and examination, I wish to gain the principles of teaching adult learners and develop practical skills to plan and deliver lessons that will inspire students to learn. I will then become more aware of the language and apply my knowledge when teaching.

Where the money will go

I will get the satisfaction knowing I’ve helped people gain in confidence, as not being able to speak the language of the country you’re living in is an handicap per se. Thus parents could focus more on their children which will bring families together and hopefully this could decrease crimes and juvenile delinquencies in the future.
