Supporting Cancer Patients in Tameside (Tameside Macmillan Unit)
The project will benefit people with cancer. Care provided in the new purpose built Tameside Macmillan Unit based at Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care Foundation Trust is of high standard but we are in need of a vital piece of equipment to identify patients with breathing difficulties.
- The award will be used to purchase a Spirometer. This would help in a quick identification of patients with breathing difficulties, which can be an early sign of cancer related condition; improve diagnosis and treatment.
- The award would offer help directly to patients in the Community with cancer and make their experience easier.
