Imps Motorbike Display Team

The Imps is a non-profit making organisation that educates young people through a disciplined, dynamic and challenging programme. The team are aged between 5 yrs – 17 years old, who train every weekend and perform around the UK/Globe performing shows for members of the public. Their current changing facility at their base is not suitable for its purpose, so a refurbishment to alter and upgrade the existing building to provide an enhanced facility in terms of its practicality of use would be fantastic.

Our goals:

  • To provide a changing area that represents the expectations of the modern era.
  • To boost the morale of the young people after a hard days training in all weather.
  • To provide a suitable and safe environment for the current and future members.

How we will achieve our goals

The imps solely relie on sponsorship to be able to perform to the many members of the public each year. Money is often sparse and needed to help maintain the bikes and uniforms etc. This award would be the additional fund that is desperately needed to help maintain the areas that are often left.

Where the money will go

This project would allow the children to be take overall ownership of their changing facilities by allowing them to have a voice in how it will look and what they need. It will provide them with a warm and safe facility for them to unwind after a hard days training.

The Imp come from a wide area not just one place they are very supportive and to all the age groups. They train hard and enjoy what they do, this instills a routine in their lives. They go to many displays not only in this country. They are a great team of boys and girls, and they would be very appreciative if we could all just vote and get them somewhere to chill and learn new routines. They need to chill when they take of their protective outfits.

The IMPs is a low key charity that quietly goes about the business of changing children’s lives day in and day out for the last 40 years. Nobody gets paid and everybody puts their heart and soul into making it work. Yay! For them
