How we will achieve our goals
A Community Award would enable children from the most deprived areas who are affected by mental illness and who would otherwise not be able to access the programme to experience the unique benefits of equine assisted healing.
Where the money will go
Through the Discover Wellbeing programme children will gain a sense of responsibility, self-awareness, the ability to control themselves in a new environment and develop strong, positive relationships with people from different backgrounds. They will take these transferable life-skills with them back into their schools, homes and neighbourhoods.
