Bracknell Trampoline Centre Essential Safety Equipment
The project is to cover every foam log with a pit sock to create a safe environment for the entire trampoline community, to help improve performance and have fun through use of this provision. Erosion of foam could be detrimental to health long term, so covering each log in a sock will double the log life and improve the environment in the centre.
- Fund the pit socks 3000 socks @ £1.35 each Delivery charge @ £40
- To engage the entire trampolining fraternity at the centre in covering all 3000 foam logs with the pit socks. The centre will host a "pit sock day" to carry out the work involved for the project.
- To encourage toddlers, party customers and class members to enjoy the brightly coloured pit as part of their experience and to encourage also high level trampolinists to use the facility without the fear of aggravating eyes and lungs with dust.

How we will achieve our goals
The club and centre is a registered charity and is non-profit making. An award of this kind would allow the centre to immediately upgrade the facility rather than fundraising for a long time to cover the cost. Hence, health & safety benefits would be realised straight away.
Where the money will go
The trampoline centre is widely used in the community. Based at Brakenhale School this is used daily as a PE facility. Community classes include pre-school, school age, teens, adults, fitness and special needs, plus weekly birthday parties where the pit is used extensively. For the trampoline club members, the pit is an essential learning aid.
